No reserve! But with a starting bid of £35 surely that' the same as having a reserve of £35..? These are only 90 quid new, think I'll skip it...

I did see a nice bit of oak furniture in an ad for www.pinepine.co.uk, they're in Newenden Kent, so might go along and have a look soon... Now we have those tasty Bergerac oak bookcases, everything else really ought to come up to scratch, and I'm not sure that stuff there will match.

Diesel U-Music 2002 - the nationwide search for new music talent - starts this month with aspiring young bands, DJs and producers invited to enter their demos...
The event opens on Monday 12th November, when entrants can submit their demos to: Diesel U-Music at 55 Argyle Street, London WC1 8EF. Closing date is Saturday 2nd February 2002. The entries will be divided into six distinct categories, each hosted by independent record companies and media partners... I can't make out this complex category flowchart, but at least one bit of it is sponsored by Barfly.
The winners will be announced six weeks before the Diesel U-Music Award ceremony, scheduled for May 2002. Among the prizes are the latest DJ equipment, studio time, photo sessions and professional production. Winners will also be featured on a Diesel U-Music compilation album and CD covermounts.
Entries should be all original material and no more than six minutes in duration per track, with a maximum of three tracks. Only Scratch DJ tracks can be longer than the stipulated six minutes. The accepted formats are Mini-Disc, DAT or CD and must be accompanied by a 100-word biography and, where possible, photograph of the entrant.

Still no joy from the little computer, so not seen the last episodes of Lost yet. Connected Clare's PSP up to the computer for the very first time yesterday, and converted the episodes to the right format (with thanks to this how to from Engadget) and all is looking good!
Busy long weekend lined up, we're off to Number 10 tomorrow for a bit of a look round, then some sort of eating and drinking shenanigans on Saturday, and then going on a piratey Hornblower adventure on the high seas on Sunday, which we're rightly looking forward to.
Got lots of offers of work coming in at the moment, that's a good thing! If only any of the monies being offered were up to scratch I'd be laughing.
Happy Birthday Dad! That's the third time I've posted that here, must mean this vanity website has been running for over three years, blimey. Ah yes 8th May was the anniversary...
