Neds, Twist and The Darkness ALL ROCKED...
Neds Atomic Dustbin was FANTASTIC on Saturday... I really wasn't sure what to expect, but it was cracking. Predictable crowd of late twenties / early 30s aged indie kids, and nearly all male too, but it kicked off right away, and kept going until they'd played everything, ever.
Support came from Twist, a pleasant surprise, they are an ace Brummie all girl 4 piece, and they ROCK OUT and are to be highly recommended.
To complete my evening of ROCK we raced up to the Barfly in time to catch The Darkness - without doubt the best unsigned band around.

The Darkness play the Monarch... Again...
Mad Metal Mothers THE DARKNESS play at the Casino Royale third birthday party tomorrow (Saturday) night, you have to see them - Neds Atomic Dustbin will kick out quite early, so don't fret, there is time to see both. And if you're not going to see Neds, fet not, go to the Barfly early and see The Mighty Handful.
Casino Royale is fortnightly at Camden Barfly, 49 Chalk Farm Road, That London, with your host Victor DeMilo.

Tonight The Saint Bar, in Leicester Square will witness the capital's greatest fund-raiser since Live Aid - yes, it's Bitch Aid.
www.popbitch.com needs money for a new server, and a couple of enterprising fans have organised a bit of a beano to raise some cash.
It runs from 8pm until 2am, it's a fiver to get in, and there's a nice drinks promo on: 5 beers for a tenner... Entertainment comes from the DJs (Slackhack, Punk Girl, Bumpy Knuckles and Cagey) and also from observing the other punters present... if the night is anything like the site, everyone will be desperate to give off the impression they're Very Important Indeed.
I will be there, in my popEx t-shirt, baggy Neds Atomic Dustbin shorts, and a big gold top hat - please come up and say hello.
