SFA and Stephen Malkmus? ACES!
Super Furry Animals are supporting Stephen Malkmus at Royal Festival Hall on the 19th of April, how smart is that?
It's part of a two day event Malkmus is curating (why are gigs not "put on" at that venue? Why are they always "curated"?), Graham Coxon supports one day and SFA support the next day... there are more bands to be announced too...
The year is hotting up... Get tickets here...

Tonight I am mostly going to see Stephen Malkmus at ULU, how about you?
Hotly tipped ("a bit like Nike Drake", they're saying) Matthew Jay is playing at the new Barfly venue in Cardiff tonight, if you're in that part of the world, that's recommended... There's a load more gigs for the whole country here:

Steve Malkmus is doing a wee tour of the UK, and tickets are available now... He plays:
Glasgow QMU April 15th
Manchester Uni April 16th
London Shepherds Bush Empire April 17th
Also there's some kind of warm up show at ULU on the 12th. It's in conjunction with the John Peel show, and there are rumours of Very Special Guests... Good luck getting tickets.
Steve (ooh, informal) is backed up by The Jicks, as with all other tour dates. Whether Justine Frischmann will make an appearance is not clear at this stage...
