It's the end of the world as we know it

Jan172007

Popped out to the shop yesterday in a little light drizzle, and an even lighter jacket, and by the time I'd finished my grocery round, the sky was black like midnight and the rain was booting it down. This is just the start. I know it's early, but today is miserable so far with poor light, wind, and rain, and it's getting worse. There are sever weather warnings for tonight, so Clare's goign tospend the day working from home, just in case we have a repeat of last week's trees on the line.

Batten down the hatches everybody!
