Hmm, not really, but this morning a body was found on the beach at Folkestone. Grim, wonder if it's linked to this man, missing after being quizzed about this 53 million pound robbery.
Had a lovely day in Canterbury today, despite the rain, was nice to be able to wonder around town not being on a particular quest to find presents for anyone, or clothes for Clare. We bought a lamp and a buddha, and had a splendid lunch in Wagamamas.
Off for a night out down the harbour now.

Good choice on the purchase of the Buddha - we have a few dotted around the house, some really cheery ones. I want a big stone one for the garden but Hazel won't allow it :o( Got a picture of yours?

He's a bit like a garden ornament, looks bronze, but it's resin. He's very cheery.

We'll be enflaming religious nuts with our descration of their revered icons as cheery lounge ornaments. I think Buddha specifically said he didn't want to be worshipped (or similar) so using him as a handy pick me up should be ok right? Having a cheery mantlepiece Jesus or Mohammend might not be though?
