hi my name is mrs jackie walder and I live in kent I am trying to trace my late husband'a tree for my grandchildren.I have got back to the gr/grandfather's birth and have the birth cert.the baby's name was George Walder born in 1838 in Alton,Hampshire, the father was George Walder,a carpenter and the mother Ann Walder, nee Windebank, nee Hall. I had never heard of the name but it appears to be from the Alton,Hampshire area have you heard of this family

Hi Jackie,
It is frustrating when you find the same names as yours on other peoples websites.It would appear that your Ann Hall married a Windebank then a Walder. The only Hall we have is Jane Emma, the wife of Harry Clarke and she came from Emsworth Hampshire. Don't know anything about her family yet. We have two Ann Windebank's but they are both born in Sussex in 1835 and 1869. If you check the message from Peter he has Hall's that moved to Kent?
