Just been a bit busy with I don't know what. Fending off a few jobs and interviews and things, and then also hanging around the shops like other unemployable Folkestone delinquents.
Yesterday I drove the in-laws to Gatwick, and nearly got in trouble with the uppity neighbour for having an unauthorised vehicle within her line of sight or something.
Today I am left in on my own while the wife goes out on the razz in London; she's just too good for me these days, with her high faluting city ways. I'm taking the opportunity to soak up as much of the TV that she doesn't like to watch as possible, including Lovejoy Cowboys.
Tomorrow the drinking starts in earnest, brother in law from America is visiting for brother-in-law from here's wedding, we will have about 10 days of living it up I think.
That's another DVD burned, back to the lounge again, bye.

Live it up as much as possible when you are 'off'. I'm exhausted from living it up here AND still being at my desk at 8am, it's killing me.

Not really, saw Paul Merton doing improv the other day. My mother is here so now it's been Classical Graffitti, Scottish Contemporary Ballet (urgh) and the Tattoo tonight. Seeing Andrew Maxwell next week which should be good!
I never have time to do as much as I'd like in the festival, some year I'll take a week off and see as much crap as is physicaly possible.

We have my bro-in-law visiting from The Americas. I don't think we'll be going to much contemporary ballet, I'm hoping to fit in as much pub time as possible.
It's cool that you and your mum are getting tattoos together.
Woo, got my computer in the lounge plugged into the plasma screen, not done that before! The wife said "I hope while my brother's staying he can feel that that room (spare room / computer room etc) is his and you won't be in there on the computer all the time"... I wonder if this is what she meant me to do about that? Can't quite get the widescreen settings sorted, but with a bit of juggling I can watch downloaded stuff full wide screen, nice!
*searches for more Macgyver*

Every time I try that on my tellybox it looks rubbish. While it is a super widescreen it can't do a very high res on incoming s-video.
Lovely as I'm sure your lady is, if she'd made a comment like that I'd not have been impressed - sounds almost like nagging to me. A man needs his computer room (it's the new shed).
