Also today I'm officially PISSED OFF with technology - while transferring all the weekend pictures from the camera (including both our birthday nights out, and Jenny's hen night, where Clare snapped a couple of the party skinny dipping in the sea) something happened that made Picasa erase all but one picture from the card. Yes I did pick "wipe the card [em]after[/em] transferring" and I had excluded some duplicate shots, but not all of them! This is a real shame, and I might have to try some data recovery place to get these pictures back :-(
Done a little work to tidy up Clare's family tree, it had been a bit neglected for a while and some mistakes had crept into the HTML and that.

I stopped using Picasa for that very reason. The first time was annoying, the second was inexcusable.

Data recovery from flash cards works a treat, I got my card off ebay and used the recovery tool that came with it to see the previous owner's pics (sadly, nothing interesting).

I used something called "Free Undelete" last night and recovered nearly all of the pictures, I meant to post a link... I should have Googled right away before getting upset about it!

If you got 'most' of them, you could try Convars Recovery proggy to get the rest back. It's freeware & does the business,

It did actually recover all of the images but some where corrupted - I'll give Convers a go next time...
