Why is this ruby script getting links to it? Is it all people like me who can't believe it's getting links to it and so they're linking to it? Am I missing something here? Is it people who are too young to have heard of shell scripts and the like? I don't get this new trend for text file to do lists, someone help me out here. Is it people discovering unix things for the first time because of OSX? This is the first time I've looked at a Ruby script, is it all like that? Wow, wait until you all discover perl!
Also, no comments for days, have I broken the site again? I have been doing much messing with my code and I always forget to test things out again in internet explorer...

I was looking at Ruby On Rails just last night as a result of our chat on popex last week, and the "scaffolding" that comes with rails truly is phenomenal. Just adding the line "scaffold :instance_name" to the top of your controller file creates all of the CRUD functionality for you, which you can then customize to your hearts content.
Watch http://media.rubyonrails.org/video/rails_take2_with_sound.mov that video and you will see what I mean. You will have to excuse just how geeky the guy sounds, lol!

Will save that for home as I have no speakers here right now... still not got work then? I'm getting freelance offers left right and centre at the moment, no-one wants to pay much though.

Well, am being shuffled off to various interviews next week - have finally managed to find a couple of good agencies, rather than the hit-and-run type that seems to be so prevalent nowadays. In the immortal words of Dory: "jst keep swimming, just keep swimming..." lol
(PS, why is the optional email below a password field - I really doubt I managed to type it with no errors!)
