Don't worry! It wasn't a real squirrel! Oh, it was a person.
Marcia Squirrel, 56, was stomped to death at her home in April 2005, and her body was set on fire. On Monday, jurors convicted her son, Ruben Warledo, 37, of one count each of first-degree murder and arson
Potentially spoilertastic links here, we are getting back up to speed with Lost, on episode eighteen of series two already and should be catching up with more imminently. It's good, but it's still annoying me, I just want to race ahead and see if there really is a grand master plot behind it all, I'm not sure there is, and if there is I think it could be disappointing. So, the question is do I go surfing through sites like lostpedia.com and thetailsection.com or what?
Going to buy me a new PC any minute now, anyone got any tips? Don't think we're going to go media centre crazy or anything, I want it mostly for work and downloading and things. Our current box is too slow to be doing two things at once.
Also, hmm, missed Where Best To Invest last night, Folkestone didn't get a look in but apparently Dover was tipped.
AND, BBC 2.0, that's an interesting idea:
The BBC today unveiled radical plans to rebuild its website around user-generated content, including blogs and home videos, with the aim of creating a public service version of MySpace.com
Not sure what I feel about that, aren't there enough services like that already? Should the BBC really be using our money to try and compete with new commercial services? I'm off to Casino Avenue, he'll know what to think!

Some of my search stuff might not be working, but have you tried searching using google?
pauly :: 26 Apr :: 2006 :: Comment / reply
aahh - it seems to work better if you do an advanced search through the google site proper than your google search page - not sure why that is as surely it's accessing the same data...??
anyway, i found the page here http://www.clarkeology.com/blog/19/07//index.html
i'm after some personal financial management software for my ipaq which will synch with the software which i plan to run on my pc - prob Microsoft Money. Ideally, it will synch via ms activesynch, and hopefully life will work out nicely.

That's a google thing, not something I have control over... any joy with finding what you want? I don't use my IPAQ for anything more than watching downloaded TV on now. Still, it's pretty cool for that...

well there's a pocket version of quicken, but the prob with this is that the manufacturers of quicken have stopped doing stuff for the UK - if i buy a US copy will i be stuck with DOLLARS??
alternatively, there are a number of pocketpc progs which will do something similar i think (mastersoft money and the originally named Money v.6.0 . far too much choice sometimes. i just want to know what's the best, and what will synch the ipaq with the pc software i use the best....
