Update to recent squirrel news (whereby a squirrel stole a student's ID), said squirrel felt remorse and returned the ID, possibly in response to all the publicity on the internets. Also did you see the squirrel that disrupted the Arsenal game last night? From The Times:
their concentration never wavered. Not even when a squirrel invaded the pitch, presumably impatient for the time when Highbury's turf is turned into a communal garden
Nothing else to report yet, it's very early and I'm "working from home" today so as to fit in registering with a local doctor.

Good morning Pauly, I did see the squirrel and thought of your interest.
Did you know that Formby (near Liverpool) has a Red Squirrel reserve? http://www.redsquirrels.info/formby_squirrels.html.
It's a lovely place where I grew up and shall be going to this weekend...if i get time I'll go and see the little lovely rodents and take some pictures.
By the have linked to your blog as recommended reading.
Cheers
Neil

But TA for the link, and the link to me, I will gird myself for an onslaught of squirrel related traffic!

I doubt you will get more squirrel related traffic from my site... www.itseasytoremember.co.uk. Grey squirrels as someone said are "rats with good PR". Red Squirrels are the natural inhabitants of the UK. Long live the Red Squirrel!

Would the same people who're encouraging the extermination of greys to protect the reds also call for the death of all rock musicians so as to protect bagpipe music? Hmm, yes, probably.
Perhaps if I saw more reds, I would like them more. I went on a quest for squirrels, to the churchyard where I know they hang out. None today though.
I will link you up too Neil, thought I had done before.
