It's a good job work didn't pay me off, I would have spent all the money on AC/DC's old tourbus... Thanks bayraider.tv.

RE: Bayraider rocks \m/

I found myself in the world's highest bar in Namche Bazaar, Nepal on my way to Everest base camp in 2003, and I walked through the door and was greeted by AC/DC's "You shook me all night long" blasting out of a fairly sophisticated stereo. May not sound too odd but this place is in the middle of nowhere and most if not all of the items there were carried up on the back of Sherpas including the SLATES for the full sized snooker table that they had in there. An Englishman drinking Spanish San Miguel high in the Nepalese Himlaya listening to an American rock band was certainly a great experience. Had my first shower in days in the back of that pub too :o)

The brothers of the band were born in Scotland, but raised in Australia, and the rest were Australian. The singer now - Brian Johnson - is a Geordie, and there might be other international types added more recently. Check out more AC/DC history.

Just noticed I had a response on my gigography which I'm off to check out, so I will point out here that I've been to see AC/DC twice, Donington in 1991 and Hammersmith Apollo in 2004.

It's mad to think of sherpas carrying a snooker table up Everest, like some bizarre Edwardian cartoon....

Keep it rock based m/
