Rimmer's Task List

And it's raining again, I didn't plan this very well at all... still it's warmer, so unless it's actually hoofing it down when I leave the house, the big coat stays in the cupboard.
Got home yesterday to two surprises, firstly a big old crate in the hallway with "this way up" and "glass" on it - an actual crate of real cider, a gift from Ralph and Linda for ushing at their wedding at the weekend, nice one! Also our blinds were in in our front room, we now have window coverage in every room. They're OK, not blown away with them or anything, maybe curtains would have been better...
My job list is mounting up, have a few more things to add to it, first of those being "fix the job list"... I started to make some improvements to it, and then got distracted, gazing out of the window or something.
Bit of uproar at work today, but it's undoubtedly one of those things you're not meant to blog about, so sshhh.

You've finally got some window coverage in your lounge? Does that mean I can't stalk you through your webcam now and all I'll see is the close up slats of your aluminium venetian blinds. Bah, I say.
Also, you can't post a BLOG entry like that without all of us hating you for not telling us and then badgering you constantly for the next month. You didn't eat someone else's sandwich from in the communal fridge did you? Apparently, living in Englandshire you have the right for free speech. I'd just do it. They're www.popex.com/img/censored.gif anyway. (Am I allowed to say that?)

Do you mean that they're www.popex.com/img/censored.gif, or that they're www.popex.com/img/censored.gif? Or maybe you mean that I'm www.popex.com/img/censored.gif, I'm shocked...
Aluminium blinds indeed, they're VERTICAL for starters, and made of genuine suedette.

But you can tell me, I won't tell anyone....
I need to make an online task-list, why is your one called Rimmer?

It was a Red Dwarf based gag (you can probably see if you click through, though I don't think you can see my outstanding jobs)... I had a bundle of stuff to do at home, fix the heating, book a holiday, etc, and so instead of just doing these jobs I spent some time making up a task listing web page. The wife said this was like in Red Dwarf when Rimmer spends so long making his revision timetable that he misses his exams.

That's just reminded me, did you actually tell some sort of red dwarf joke at the wedding?
I seem to remember pissing myself laughing for ages about dog milk? Hmm strange.
Have you tried the cider yet? Looks well posh.

I've never even heard of Red Dwarf, you must be mistaken.
The cider is good, very dry and quite strong. I might put in for a regular delivery, at www.realdrink.org
