Buffseeds album is nice, and will appeal to Bluetones fans, do you see?
Listening to the debut Buffseeds album The Picture Show right now, and first impression is that it sounds a bit like JJ72 and a lot like the Bluetones... not their livelier tunes, but the more whistful and melancholic stuff definitely...
Anywyay, it's nice, if a little sad, and it's out on the 3rd of March... it's only 7.99 here too. They're touring the album starting TODAY in Taunton and playing Swindon, London, Bristol, Plymouth, Southampton, Exeter and Cardiff over the next couple of weeks...
Speaking of the Bluetones, they are back with a new double A-side Fast Boy / Liquid Lips on the 21st of April, and they're touring it too... They start off in Colchester on the 16th of March and battle on to London Astoria on May 22nd. This is quite possibly their biggest tour to date.
So, stop buying all the Stephen Malkmus tickets, we haven't got ours yet and they're nearly all gone, get some Bluetones tickets instead...
