The Strokes world domination plan turns up a gear...

It's THE STROKES... James Oldham, in today's NME says "The Strokes couldnt' be more New York if they tried", and links them to Velvet Underground and Sonic Youth.

It's nice to see the popular press supporting a band that we here at popEx have been championing for quite some time now.
