Differ'nt Strokes

The Strokes, are five New Yorkers, and they've just sent a CD with a track called Barely Legal (on an EP called The Modern Age, out now on Rough Trade), that's got to be worth a news story, if only for getting this page in the "Billie Piper Naked" search engines...



They're playing one of the NME "Brats" shows, with ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, and they're also supporting the 'Dead on tour - the only date confirmed so far is my old home venue Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms, on the 31st of Jan... if that wasn't a Wednesday I'd be THERE.



I'm sure in the title of the TV show "Different" had an apostrophe in it, anyone know why?
