Don't worry about him being too folky...
There may be lots of rumours about the new album, and he has been playing very folky material (his own and cover versions) at recent outings, but he's ready to show us what he's made of at the Rock In Rio festival next month...
Beck joins the likes of Guns n Roses, Iron Maiden, Red Hot Chili Peppers, REM, Britney Spears and more for the seven day event in, uh, RIO.
He'll also be making an appearence in cult(ish) cartoon Futurama...
