I thought it might be from last week's trailer, Radio Times confirms it:
After last week's subdued start to the new series, Gordon Ramsay is much more in his element, unleashing hell at the Sandgate Hotel on the south coast. It's losing £2,000 a week, and Ramsay quickly identifies a string of serious problems...
Didn't work did it, it's closed / closing / changing hands isn't it?

I heard a rumour that Ramsay was actually going to BUY the Sandgate Hotel (or at least the restaurant)... could be Folkestone's "Whitstable Oyster" factor if it went ahead...

Was in the local paper last week. The hotel was "unavailable for comment". It's certainly changing / changed hands, but whether Rammo's involved is another thing altogether.

Do we really want Gordon Ramsay as a neighbour though..?
Maybe the time is right to invest in property in Folkestone and Sandgate...

Things are moving faster and faster. The new shopping centre will be open early next year, and the word from the wise is that the train link will actually be EARLIER than planned (!)
I spoke to Mike MacDonald of the council the other day, and he seemed to think that it would be running by 2008. Folkestone West and Central will both be served. That should SERIOUSLY bump up property prices.
