Squirrels have bitten to death a stray dog which was barking at them in a Russian park... Clare was ATTACKED by pigeons yesterday in the park while feeding squirrels too.
Train rubbishness today "track adhesion problems" meant our train was proper delayed at Folkestone and I came in via Cannon Street for a change. Still, it's the weekend, this is A GOOD THING, out to Chambers tonight and then on the large again tomorrow too.

Is this a creative euphemism for leaves on the line or are the tracks working themselves loose? Gawd bless privatisation.

Only they don't want it to sound like one tiny leaf can physically stop something the size of a train, so it's down to the leaves making the tracks slippy... adhesion between the track and the wheels I think, not the track and the ground.
