Coincidentally we watched Notting Hill on TV last night... anyway, The Guardian has a feature, Charles Nevin had a bee in his bonnet that some parts of the nation are funnier than others. So, in a totally non-scientific attempt to test his belief, he compiled a list of the top 250 humorists in the British Isles and discovered where they were born and brought up... Read all about it, don't be holding your breath for us to come out top though...
