As you are no doubt aware, all dates for The Darkness' tour of the UK in October are now SOLD OUT. This has left a lot of you unable to get tickets, so it's with great pleasure that we announce that with immediate effect we are upgrading the venues on the tour as follows:
Original tickets remain valid, and extra tickets are on sale now! Remember tickets for all other dates are sold out, so these are sure to go fast!
We've also increased the availability of tickets for the following dates on December's ELF HAZARD tour:

They ROCKED. Not as hard as they usually do, hardly surprising as Justin's been ill, but still not bad rocking action... Amazing crowd response too, but personally I could have done without the people being in fancy dress.
We went in Edwards before and after the gig, wouldn't recommend it though.

The band seem to have recently updated their official site, they have a new forum system in place, and it's being constantly updated with news of cancellations etc...
A mate spoke to Dan Hawkins last night, he says the gig is definitely on, there are no plans to cancel Hammersmith...

The Darkness have been forced to cancel their gigs in Folkestone (this evening, Monday 20 October) and Portsmouth (tomorrow, Tuesday 21 October).
The shows, at the Leas Cliff Hall and Portsmouth Pyramids, have been cancelled due to lead singer Justin Hawkins' ongoing throat infection and related complications.
