Unexpectedly worked from home yesterday, it was odd (but nice) to be in the flat in the day and hear the neighbours going about their business. Had to go out to try and get some food, BUT, Safeway in Folkestone is closed for a few days, while it rebrands to Morrisons. The next nearest place, One Stop is closed also and reopening as a Tesco Metro. If it wasn't that there were a million billion other places to buy food, I could have been in TROUBLE!

Caught up with some missing episodes of LOST and thanks to a great friend, I have a NEW ARRANGEMENT for watching future episodes. So expect me to start spoiling things for you any day now! No, no spoilers please.

New tube fares are a bit arse aren't they? THREE QUID (up from two quid) for a cash fare single in zone one... It's to encourage people to get lobster cards so the man can track you at every turn I suppose. We're well out of this one, our regimes of walking to and from each station are working well. I'm going to have to walk from Holborn to Charing Cross for a few more days, though it looks like the trains do still meet up in the same way, and the timetable is lying...

Hmm, is this the video IPOD? Guessing this hasty potatoshop job is not...

they all get eaten by a giant polar bear that has been eating illegally smuggled steroids. end of.

the end is infuriating. the new season started well, but then lapsed into its prick-tease style of tv in the second episode. i just want to know the friggin answer init.

RE:

I hear they've written 6 series of it, so I don't suppose there will be a proper resolution, I think it'll be "interpret it how you will", they're probably all actually dead aren't they. I have the first two episodes of series two too, I am only up to the current Channel 4 episode though, and will be watching that tonight...

RE:

SIX!!!!!!! for the love...that's the one thing about US tv that really bugs me...they make some amazing tv, but they just kill it by stretching it out so much. SIX. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. that means i wont know the answer until im 31. like i've got nothing better to do with my life for the next 6 years.

RE:

You reckon there will be an answer at the end of series six? I think it'll get canned before then, and then only concluded in endless fan fiction websites... Not clicking that link myself in case there are really spoilers...

RE:

well apparently there is an ANSWER, but i refuse to be told and shout loudly if anyone tries to tell me. the beginning of the second series provides lots of answers, but tiresomely, sets new questions to ponder over agonisingly :o(

also, new season of west wing has started. im saving those up, so i can watch a few episodes at a time. west wing is epic, and this season (for reasons i shant divulge) will, i suspect, be one of the best ever.

Cheers for not divulging... is this new new NEW series then? So they're still making West Wing? We're getting to the end of series 5 I think, and loving it still. Christian Slater just joined, I think that means Sam is about to leave (replace one brat-packer with another) and President Bartlett was just re-elected... no spoilers though, please, we will catch up with you soon!

RE:

yes, it's season 7. season 6 was goodish, but i thought seasons 3+4 were the best. sadly, it's kinda obvious who stays and goes because they're missing off the front cover the of the DVDs!

RE:

Will there be a season 8? Are they still making it?

RE:

presumably they're finishing off the back end of season 7 still. i hope it finishes at 7. it's been good, but i dont like these things to die a slow and painful death. and anyway, they've really cut down on budget for season 7 apparently...you don't do that if something is riding high on the wave of grateness init.

Ah well, it was good while it lasted... at least we have five more years of LOST to look forward to!
