Lunch!

Met a couple of chums for lunch, on a boat, what a treat. No actual food there, just a couple of beers, then grabbed a falafel on the way back to work. Been monitoring popbitch board all day seeing followups to this bbc blog, a funny old business. Everyone says offensive things at times, best not to write them down though, even behind the anonymity of the internets. Once I slagged off a random punter in the crowd at a gig review, and they tracked me down and emailed me. More recently I've had people offering me FREE STUFF and invites to things after reading what I've written here and on popex, that's always nice. ENJOY LIVE 8 if you're going won't you, man I'd love to be there!

Actually we couldn't go to Live 8 even if we had won tickets (or been given one of the many, many industry freebies which seem to have been kept out of the news reports) as we're off to Canterbury tomorrow, taking Dad and the nephews for suit fittings, and then I am entertaining family over the weekend. We will watch Live 8 on TV, the lineup is looking entertaining enough... Have a nice weekend.
