Haircut

Haircut

So, I a bit of a trim at the weekend. Clean shaven and short modern slightly dishevelled hair which has possibly taken years off me.

Snoozed all the way into work today, which was nice, slight delay yet again though. It’s a cliche about commuter trains always being late, but it’s true.

Had a meal for Jenny’s birthday Saturday night at Nicola’s Portofino. Nice meal, LOTS of wine, and a free harranguing over puddings from Rodney Hylton-Potts, which was a bit surreal. We saw him off good and proper though. Quite a restful weekend apart from that, did a bit of shopping and tidying, and then a monster cook last night - made a huge cauldron of Jambalaya which I’ve not done in ages. Didn’t think to put it straigh in the freezer, left it out on the side in plastic tubs to cool down. This seems like a bad thing to do, so the whole lot’s going in the bin.
