COLD
Home
Freezing again today, and a few more sprinkles of snow, though I am feelign far sprightlier today as I went to be at HALF NINE last night. There was nowt on TV, I was worn out from the weekend's late nights and fairly heavy drinking, and I have an BOOK to read. For the first time in I don't know how long I am reading a book that is not Raymond E Feist or Terry Pratchett and I am enjoying it. It is The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time and I mostly rattled through it in the one sitting but it is good. You will know that as it seems I am the last person in the world to read it, next time I will move onto something even more Richard and Judy like The Davinci Code...
Job for the day, see if I can manipulate PDFs with PERL. PDF's a document format, and PERL's the language, for the uninitiated. Hmm, that's me informing you that it is a language, a computer programming language, just in case you are uninitiated. It's not a language for the uninitiated.
