First DVD Rental Hiccup

Disc three of Angel is completely failing to play, so what do we do now? Send it back and request another copy I suppose... this is expected by Amazon, so there's no charge and it won't count as one of our monthly rentals.
Going to implement Google's new preventing comment spam idea on these pages, will make no difference to viewers of the page, and it probably won't actually stop the odd messages I get left about chinese umbrellas and the like, but it's good to keep abreast of these things.
Got another text from Country Warmth the fireplace people, saying our scaffolding isn't up yet. Come on, give me something else REALLY annoying, these things ought to happen in threes...
UPDATE: That's it, Pret just put milk in my coffee and I didn't spot it until I got back...

Is Amazon DVD renting any good then? I'm with Screen Select, which is more expensive but doesn't limit the number of DVDs you can rent each month.

That's why we joined that one really... 7.99 for 4 DVD's a month, keep them as long as you like but only two at home at once... postage is free and convenient, but knowing that they will divide a box set up into individual disks makes it not seem so bargainous.

That's what I was thinking. We rented the Seinfeld boxset in December. That's nine discs, which was what put me off switching to Amazon.

Screen Select do these tariffs:
1 Disc at a time (4 per month)
£7.99
1 Disc at a time (Unlimited)
£9.99
2 Discs at a time (5 per month)
£9.99
2 Discs at a time (Unlimited)
£12.49
3 Discs at a time (Unlimited)
£14.99
I do the £14.99 one, cos we watch a lot. Dunno how the Amazon one works but with this you put together a list of the DVD's you want and it sends them to you randomly (you can select ones you want to see urgently).

That's not bad actually. Screen Select have changed their tariffs around since last time I looked. I need to work out how many films we watch each month.
