Just when I had started to get my DIY music player working nicely with all the modern web technology, the source of all the music has vanished from the network. The box is still there, the lights are flashing, but it's not on the network. I will have to investigate...

I forgot the NAS not on the wifi, there is a long ethernet lead running across the house behind the skirting, and it was a bit loose on one end so was held in place with a rubber band. Which had snapped. An actual literal rubber band holding my home network together, what a pro...
