Location, Location, Location were in Stokey recently according to the Daily Mirror...

Very boozy weekend, in Folkestone, blee... didn't shame ourselves in the Chambers quiz, but didn't come away with any silverware either.

Too drink sodden to sort out anything in the flat.

Well spotted Ro:

According to amazon and play.com 29 Oct sees the release of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. Another chance for us Brits to take part in a classic piece of Americana.

hello

im back...got moved about at work...all very bad news :o(

anyway, got the ipaq up and running...was v impressed to get some wifi action in Corney & Barrow...although god knows wot they'll think of me if they ever check my URLs, as looking at my history, one of my amusing peers visited www.milf.com hmmmmmmmm.....

so anyway, questions questions questions...basically i wondered if you had answers to the following:

1. do u know good sites for downloading ipaq applications? pref for free!!!

2. are there any essentials that i simply must have on my ipaq?

3. is there a way of getting a news service? at the mo ive got AvantGo but i dont like it very much

4. any ideas about how to break out of my firm's firewall? im on some dumb proxy server that wont let u do anything apart from work!

anyway, got to dash...as i am now a corporate whore i dont get the chance to surf all that much any more :o(

Check to see if your evil hitler organisation has installed a socks server somehere and if they have

Check to see if your evil hitler organisation has installed a socks server somehere and if they have go forth and install yourself a socks client and route all your requests to it (then you don't have to set up any proxy in your browser settings). Same idea as a proxy server only it doesn't cache anything plus you can connect on most other ports to the internet...

proxy shmoxy

er, I guess the point would be if you could break out of the proxy then there woudnt be much point in you ecil sysadmin spending valuable seconds of his life making all your network traffic go through the proxy.
he will nodoubt have made you a proxy slave a) cos he wants to surf the porn you are he just wants it to be traced back to you
b) he wants the bandwidth it freed up putting you the corporate web(porn) surfing through a decrepid pentium 400 so that he can surf livechix.com
