What a pain, just sorted the congestion charge for my brother in law who is driving up to London and has decided to cut through. He's a registered disabled so he should be exempt, BUT to qualify for the exemption he has to fill in a form and send it off, can't do it online, and it'd cost a tenner to process it. SO, it works out cheaper to just pay the charge. Bit of a crappy system really, if it wasn't such a money spinner TfL could easily merge in the existing Blue Badge holder database automatically. Nice one!
Today:
- PopEx admin, got 48 pages of junk mails etc to go through, trying forwarding popex mail through another account to get rid of spam
- Chart processing
- More on the Barfly admin system, got group listings merging just about working, next step the band bible
Nice one, this site is now the fifth entry that comes up if you search for Stoke Newington on Google or the second if you search for stokey... google-watch.com eat your heart out...

Got to find somewhere to entertain sister, brother-in-law and two nephews (aged five and three) on Church Street this evening...
Had a sit down Chinese in the end, I forget the name, and I can't find it online... We've had a takeaway from there before, which was good, good range of tofu for me anyway. The nephews seemed happy with just rice and noodles, Kez had something mushroomy and Dez had curry chicken and I had Szechuan bean-curd and a couple of Tiger Beers. Had lychees for the first time ever, they're not all that are they. Found it in the end it's called the Haikksun.
