Phew what a scorcher
Home
Cleaned the flat in a big way today, including the kitchen floor, the cooker and defrosting the fridge and the freezer, mostly with a hair dryer. It's been the hottest day ever in the history of all time again today, I'm sure of it.
Ooh, Eastenders Exits Weekend on UK Gold AND The Darkness are doing an extra night at Brixton Academy in December... it's all going crazy for them! Can't actually go to that as we'll be out of town for a birthday weekender in Folkestone.

I'm pleased with that, it's up from 5k every day since we had the bike...
Someone seems to be playing a saxaphone outside, it's so bohemian round here. I could be hallucinating that because of the heat though. 37 degrees today, should be about 10 degrees lower tomorrow, thankfully...

The Currant Bun says temperatures yesterday reached 101 degrees in Gravesend, but the official max was 99 point something at Heathrow Airport.
Still got no hot water, landlord is here, engineers now say they can't send someone today, are not sure when they will be able to, and suggest we try another company. THANKS!
