Horrible noise coming from my brakes

Garage bill ahoy!
Car booked in tomorrow, hope that's not too expensive. Sounds like something's dragging along under the car when I'm at low speed and use the brakes. I have checked though, there's not a bike or a trolley or an old lady stuck under the car or anything.
Hmm cannot find this book in Folkestone library.
