Pegg, Stephenson, Walliams, Devant, all on one (illegal) DVD?
Custom DVD my arse, it's a DVDR of episodes that have been bittorrented or were videoed off Paramount Comedy at the time...
Asylum aired on the Paramount Comedy Channel in 1996. The series stars Simon Pegg, Jessica Stephenson / Hynes (Spaced), Norman Lovett (Red Dwarf) and Julian Barratt (The Mighty Boosh). The show also features a different guest comedian in each episode including Bill Bailey (Black Books), David Walliams (Little Britain), John Moloney, Paul Tonkinson and Parsons & Naylor.
And featuring a performance in every show from the Asylums house band David Devant & His Spirit Wife.
This is a custom DVD as the show has never been released. It includes all six episodes edited into complete shows without adverts and comes with DVD menus and cover art.
I have these, but dreadful quality. Thinking about David Devant, we will try and go to that gig...
Not watching Asylum tonight though, got the last episode of series two of The Wire. Yeah I know we're miles behind, we've been busy!
