Emap have decided to not sell The Face after all. Instead they're going to bury it in a big concrete pit, as though it was radioactive waste. This messageboard represents our last chance to keep something of the magazine alive. Keep the faith, etc...

not really allowed to say much, otherwise will risk losing payoff.
one could of course speculate that a resurgent Face would embarass Emap - making it look as though they were the problem, not "market conditions"
alternatively, an observer might suggest they could be concerned that it would take advertising away from the company's remaining "style" titles
then again, they could just be a bunch of cunts.
whatever - the spirit will live on. Will get back to everyone soon with news of what we're planning next.
