A tape deck without pretensions
Home
Recently I remembered we had an old portable stereo in our kitchen, unused for years and years and I thought "great, I can plug my IPOD into that" and have music in the kitchen. We have a little ipod dock and speakers combo but it's a bit worn out and crackles and pops, and combined with my aged IPOD it doesn't really do the job any more. I got the stereo down, but, no red and white sockets on the back, no inputs at all in fact. I dismantled it, thinking I could use my advanced electronics skills to disconnect the tape player part of it and connect the IPOD to that. But, I could not, and now it doesn't work at all, bah.
