Textarea line numbers (using javascript?)

Someone must have done this? I want to add line numbers to my input box, so as to make the inline editor I'm using at work a bit more like a real editor... any ideas?
UPDATE: codepress looks quite good, doesn't work exactly with the jtageditor I'm already using...
