ABE Books Also Leaving Commission Junction

Hmm, ebay recently quit Commission Junction (an affiliate company, who make it easy for small fry like me to refer you to a company who pay a commission), and now ABE Books are off too, I wonder what's going on? There are millions of companies out there that pay commissions but mostly they're loan sharks and so on, Ebay and ABE are the only two I've found that are relevant to the kind of things I like to write about. Amazon always seemed like a good idea, but everyone knows how and where to buy books and cd's, so it never actually made any money at all.
I can follow Ebay and ABE to their new homes, but blee, CHANGE is BAD, it never works out for the best for the little guy! Whenever I've moved affiliate companies in the past I've ended up missing out on some money...
Just remembered some ALL of my links (for example, to this non rustic table and chairs) are out of date, I'm losing my 6p commission already!

Hello Pauly,
I will totally agree with you that change CAN be a nightmare, especially for the little guy, but we're going to do our best to make the migration to Performics as painless as possible! All I can really say is that if you experience any issues, just let me or Heather know ASAP, and we'll do our best to make it right.
Cheers,

The AbeBooks.co.uk program is staying with Commission Junction for the time being, so you're good to stay there.

Now to pimp some Harry Clarke original artwork or something, get my commission up. What do you recommend, what is hot at ABE Books these days?
Thanks for keep coming back here btw, I've not had this level of service from an affilliate manager before, at least not since that time I sold £15,000 worth of Robbie Williams tickets in one month.

Ha! That's a a lot of Robbie Williams!
Textbooks are always growing as a segment, so that's something to look at. We're featuring Wind in the Willows right now, so that can mean some big ticket items where people are looking for firsts. As the Olympics approach, books on both the Olympics, and on China's human rights track record and Tibet will likely pick up as well.
Glad to help out, anyway! Don't hesitate to let me know if you have any other questions.
