We loved the album, nice knowing you feller...
Suede. Gomez. M People. What they got in common? That's it, one fantastically received album, and then gradually disappearing from our lives since then... and GUESS WHAT! They all won the Mercury Price
OK, stretching the point a bit, apparently Damon Gough has three albums of material in reserve (hmm, heard that before, what's the story?) and long may he reign, but just possibly we will never hear anything as good as Hour of the Bewilderbeast from him again. Why couldn't Coldplay have won?
Come on past winners, I dare you Suede, I double dare you, come back with a GRATE new album. Please?

Reading this, "Why will the current Apple/Napster model fail?". I don't know why it'll fail, I've not got to the end yet. Thankyou www.theregister.co.uk... Hmm, that reminds haven't checked out www.memepool.com or www.popdex.com since I moved to a new computer and set up new bookmarks... Reading www.kissonline.com every day, but still no sign of UK gigs yet.
Great gig yesterday, great mini sonic wig out ending from the cut down version of Frankie Machine, and lots of booze with friends, and a curry, and everything. Tired today, doubly so because we had a power cut in the night, so a cold shower this morning.
To Folkestone after work, can't wait.
