KFC, Edinburgh's Nicholson Street
He was with his sons, who look like real neds, caps and everything, and they were eating from one of those monster chicken buckets. God knows why he was there because KFC has to be the foulest excuse for fast food in the entire world. In fact, it makes me want to fast. Ho ho?
This all happened last Saturday afternoon between about 4 and 5, and every night in my dreams since.

world without end, story without end more like
World without end, book without end more like, it just went on and on and on. Enjoyable enough in short bursts but a bit relentless, the same things being done by / to the same people again and again and again. Much like the book this is a sequel to, it felt like Ken Follett just didn't want to stop writing it.
I'm back onto Rebus now, a change from all that history
