Announced earlier this week, www.play.com have only got EMI on board so far, but that's a big chunk of the record industry. The tracks will be free of DRM so you'll be free to play them on any player and copy from computer to computer I think, also they'll be cheaper than itunes, at least until they wake up to the competition.

I like the BBCode window, i've seen that before somewhere too :-)
Anyway I was posting to say try MythTV under linux. I had it on a Shuttle box for about a year a loved it, I only stopped using it when I got my Topfield TF5800 PVR. I can always help you out with MythTV or Ubuntu...
