Ooh, old review

Just found something I wrote a few weeks ago:

I saw Love Hate last night, used to love them when I were a youth, and they were still very good. The singer hasn't aged at all, he must be a vampire, either that or he lives a healthylifestyle and not all the drink and drugs he kept singing about and espousing during the gig. The rest of the band have got YOUNGER, they're younger than me!

Ah, I see what he's done, it's not the original band, just the singer.

They supported Gilby Clarke at the Underworld. Who? Yes, that famous session musician who stepped in to play live after Izzy Stradlin left, and who I don't think played on any of their proper albums. I bet he did a set of all "famous songs G'n'r once covered", we didn't stay to watch him, but I did hear Knocking on Heaven's Door from the bar...

You've missed this one probably...

Well I was, earlier... anyway are playing at Camden Underworld tonight, I might go to that, they were my fave band when I was about 18. They're supporting who was in for a bit, but after I'd gone off them...

Also, very sad news, have split up according to NME...

Hey when did they remove the maps from my gig guide?

Axl - BACK!

Axl Rose back in the public arena...

Rolling Stone reports that Axl Rose is back in the arena of ROCK, after appearing onstage with former Gunner Gilby Clarke at the Cat Club on Sunset Strip...

"Shockingly" Axl sang two Rolling Stones covers, who'd have thought it, G'N'R (the band that most VH1 fans would like to see make a comeback, fact fans) follow up their "Live Like a Suicide" EP of covers, and their album of punk covers, and occasionaly one off covers like "Live and Let Die" with, wait for it, more covers.

This bodes really well for the new material, said to be on the way from Axl and a new band.
