Being a dolphin is not easy these days, everyone's after us and the fishermen catch more and more of our fish each day, it's hard to make ends meet.

I've just had a huge council tax bill too, even though it's my second home' so as well as my website www.sandgatedolphin.co.uk I've decided to open a little shop on ebay to sell a few souvenirs of my visit.

If you promise to buy enough of them I will try to stay a bit longer and maybe even come back next summer (Don't forget I haven't gone yet!).

I've got Tee Shirts with pictures of me on them and some pictures of me swimming about in your lovely clean sea (I am so pleased you've stopped putting all your poo in here).

You can get to the shop by clicking here

You can pay using those card things on Paypal and my Friend Simon will see that you get the goods, us Dolphins can't get to the post office.

See You at the Beach

Many Thanks

Dave

Resident DJs Miss JT, Billy Reeves & Hitman Hearn

SATURDAY 6th DECEMBER 8pm-late

at

THE WATER RATS THEATRE, Grays Inn Road, Kings Cross (nearest tube Kings
X)
Prices £4 with flier/Time Out Priority Card before 10pm/£5
otherwise.

Well boys and girls, the time has finally come - in more ways than one.
It's
like the planets all aligning at once! For not only is it Christmas
time,
Miss JT's 21st birthday again, Uncle Bob's 10th year of existence AND
the
100th club night we've ever done, BUT it's also time for us to wave
goodbye.
Maybe not forever - but it's time to call it a day on Bob's as we have
grown
to know and love it.
Yes, London's favourite long-running club night, that's propelled the
likes
of Sophie Ellis Bextor and The Darkness to fame and fortune, has
decided to
move on.
We may emerge, Mr Benn like, in another place and in an odd disguise at
some
point in the future - but who knows? To all intents and purposes, this
is
the end, my friends. So come and help us celebrate with the best EVER
knees-up so we can go out with a bang!
To help us make it the greatest night London has ever known, not only
is
Uncle Bob's Number One celebrity DJ, the luscious Sarah Cawood, gracing
our
decks once more, but legendary former Bob's resident DJ Simon Price is
back
for one night only.
PLUS we're proud to announce the return of Bob's live favourites
SchwaB.
This lot have got music lovers salivating on the eve of the release of
their
new single 'Bland Band Boogie' on December 1 through Foundation, with
X-Ray
magazine gushing: "SchwaB are an East London five-piece intent on
layering
sound to create a unique ‘fuzzy beats soup’. They sprang from the ashes
of
the larger Lucci Daddo Fuzz Orchestra, a band who took lounge music and
fuzz
pedals into house clubs. SchwaB have combined their love of Booker T
with an
exuberant, Jon Spencer-style frontman in the form of Paddy Austin.
According
to beats controller Rick Hudson, SchwaB’s aim is 'to capture the
essence of
good old records that people dance to'. With their clutter of car boot
sale
paraphernalia and keyboard player Mike Chesnutt’s secondhand
instruments,
SchwaB are a majestic live force and a soundman’s nightmare."
For more information, go to http://www.schwabmusic.co.uk
Band on at 9pm SHARP.
Plus Bob's resident DJs Miss JT, Billy Reeves and Hitman Hearn
will be there playing their favourite Bob's tracks of all time.
Tears will be shed, but most importantly, FUN WILL BE HAD with their
trademark mix of
the best youth club classics, disco trash, punk
stompers, sleazy listening, racy retro, drunken anthems, exotic
rubbish,
and perfect pop which have all added up to make Bob's the best fun
night
London has ever known.
As ever, there'll also be the Dance Like Your Dad competition,
giveaways,
Hat's
Entertainment, plus free booze for the first 50 in and naff nibbles as
per
usual.

AND DON'T FORGET - ALL DRINKS AT THE WATER RATS ARE AT PUB PRICES, SO
YOU
MAY AS WELL GET DOWN THERE AS SOON AS DOORS OPEN AT 8PM,
DONTCHA THINK?

Bob's is 8pm-late at The Water Rats
Theatre, 328 Grays Inn Road, Kings Cross WC1, near Kings Cross Tube.
Entry
£5/4 with flyer or TIME OUT PRIORITY card before 10pm.

The BBC's non commercial (ha) so they've not missed out on anything

It's good what the Guardian did I reckon...

I had lots more to post about Hot Fuzz, but then I got distracted by things... brilliant that Cate Blanchett played his girlfriend and you never see her face, and that there was no love interest shoehorned into the story at all.

(Apart from the obvious love Simon Pegg and Nick Frost have for each other)
