A new bar / restaurant in HytheAlso went to Earl Brownes in Hythe yesterday, it's new, and it's quite swanky... an interesting mix of styles, from the tudor beams in the bar, back to the bedouin style drapes at the back. A bit bright in there, but very nice. No real ales, but they... Mel B's ex hubby Jimmy Gulzar & ShanksWeds, 11th April. Shanks was sitting next to him but they didn't recognise each other. He was with a very pretty girl, apparently trying to pull. He smokes Davidoff fags and dresses gateaux flabulous. He didn't seem very interested in me though. ... The Mariner Bar & Restauranti went to the mariner for sunday lunch last weekend and although they where very busy the staff and service was superb. the meal was lovely and only £6Didn't go to Canterbury all weekend!Imagine that... Overslept Sunday morning, so we went to Escondido for lunch instead. The chef got my food wrong again, so for the second time in a row mine came free, that's nice. Apparently Escondido weren't quite recovered from a disaster the previ... Gate 28 - gutted!Walked past <strong>Gate 28</strong> tonight, and it's under serious redecoration. The bar is still there, but no sign of the pumps or anything.
