Blog2019 ≫ It's share time...

Got an update from work regarding the shares, they're going to make a payout about now. They're paying back something like 10-15% of the money now that they agreed to pay over the next five years. And they're paying interest on the rest of it. So I have some money going into my account this wee that I will have to put straight into the holiday fund for next year. That was always the plan for this money, to spend all of it on holidays each year. I was expecting them to pay back 20-30% each year though, so good job we have not set our hearts on a big exotic trip next year.

I do still have my heart set on Glastonbury, that could be quite big and quite exotic. Really enjoyed The Cure's headline slot yesterday.

Also yesterday enjoyed the sort-of-air-show. We got the bus into Folkestone and it was super busy everywhere and very hot. We saw one Spitfire and then the Red Arrows, and we bumped into friends and we bought an expensive Spitfire lager too. Got a very busy bus back again, and nearly dragged the kids into the Inn Doors but in the end just came home.
