Blog2012 ≫ 240v relay for 2.29?

Despite most of my little arduino projects so far failing for one reason or another I think it's about time to move on to the mains electricity, so I had another look today this looks like just the job1, a 240v relay that I can control from the arduino. Robot House here we come!

Q: hi, could i use this relay in a light switch so i could use like a microcontroller or a computer to control the light bulb? James - 09/11/2009 Maplin says: Yes the product does support that.

Any advice anyone can offer greatly appreciated...

Had a lovely time last night, dinner at Googies and then on to Chambers for beer. Was very busy in both places, Chambers had sold out of most of the beers and ciders already. Going back there again tonight for a bit too, wonder what is left now...
